The African Developers Conference is a dynamic tech convention organized by Gebeya in collaboration with the Lions@Africa, African Technology Foundation (ATF), Ethiopians In tech (EiT) and Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MinT) of Ethiopia. It will take place in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia on the 5th and 6th of July, 2019, at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). The event is hosted with the sole purpose of bringing together thought leading tech professionals and aspiring tech talents while presenting young innovators with the chance to gain vital insights in relation to local as well as continental job and entrepreneurial opportunities.
The two-day multitrack convention will be the first of its kind covering topics dominating the digital industry all across the world. Its main objective is to bring together software engineers, entrepreneurs, tech professionals, hubs, STEM students, University Faculty and aspiring tech talents to gain vital insights into the future of Africa’s Digital Transformation. Attendees will also be taken through a series of workshops, demos, networking as well as training sessions for the chance to enhance their knowledge, widen their perspectives and enrich their experiences.
Several influential speakers from Africa and around the globe will attend the event to share their experiences as industry leaders with a focus on Mobile, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud, API Economy, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), DroneTech, FinTech, Blockchain, Big Data, Enterprise Architecture, AgriTech, Gaming, Virtual reality, and EdTech.

This event is NOT FREE, although you can register for free and get a reserved ticket. After the submission of your registration, you have 7 days to pay for the conference fee to secure your spot.
Fees are set at $10.00 or 270 Ethiopian Birr for Students as per our Student Discount and for regular attendees, it is $20 or ETB 570 Ethiopian Birr. The fee will cover full access to all the sessions, workshops and activities of the conference as well as lunch and coffee breaks provided on each day. Swags will also be provided. Note that if you fail to make your payment within 7 days, your registration will be automatically cancelled and your ticket will be assigned to someone else.
Payment must be made in person at our campus located at Bole, Zimbabwe St., Sinan Commercial Bldg - 2nd Floor, Woreda 02, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
