AWiB Presents Her Gems: Valuable, Useful, And Beautiful - 03.07.14

Once a month the Association of Women in Business AWiB hold their montly networking event. This July is their event to showcase their AWiBers - the Bold and the Beautiful! This month they present three magnificent women who let us in their secret.

Tigist Abate: A determined individual raising an autistic child and making it to the top of the corporate ladder. Tigist is a member of the top senior management team with Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE). She is also a strong advocate and practitioner of lifelong learning.

Tseday Worku GM of Segon-Merill International Movers. In her words Tseday states “If we don’t change, we don’t grow. Growth demands a temporary surrender of security”.

Kebkab Sergaw, A young Lawyer and Human Rights expert and practitioner who is courageous enough to lead AWiB in 2015. 

Lessons to be learned:

• Who are they? What do they do in life and how do they do it?
• What are they passionate about?
• What are the success factors in their individual lives?
• What challenges have they experienced and how did they overcome them? Which personal triumphs do they celebrate?
• How do they contribute to their communities?
• What’s their vision for the future?
• What do they want to be remembered for? Their legacy? What do they want written on their tombstone?
