Ethiopian New Year Celebration Washington - 14.09.14

Seven year ago the Washington DC Metro area made history as host of the world’s largest Ethiopian Millennium celebration. The event was held on the Washington Monument and attracted over 40,000 people from all walks of life. On September 9/2012 the 2nd event was held with over 25,000 in attendance celebrating Africa and her people with music, food and culture.

Again on September 14/2014 the celebration will be joined by Jammin DC a Caribbean Festival comprising 28 nations, and Good Will Ambassador of the Ethiopian Wildlife Chachi Tadesse. This celebration is dedicated to the protection and preservation of Ethiopian wildlife and tourism in addition to building bridges with the greater African Diaspora and the American Public.

The event will consist of fashion show, entertainment, kids zone, food court and stalls, beer garden and much more for the whole family.
