Fendinka & Ab Baars - 18.07.15

The legendary group of musicians and dancers from Culture Club Fendika (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) teams up with Dutch improviser Ab Baars for a concert in our living room. 

Celebrated improviser/composer/bandleader Ab Baars will join Fendika with his tenor saxophone, clarinet and/or shakuhachi. Baars has over three decades of experience as a performer both in solo and ensemble music. He toured extensively throughout Europe, North America, Brasil, Japan and Australia, and worked together with musicians such as Han Bennink, Anthony Braxton, Michael Moore, The Ex, Sonic Youth, Ken Vandermark and many, many more.
