Gabon has been chosen as host of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals 2017.
They beat Ghana and and Algeria to the hosting rights of the 31 st edition of Africa Cup of Nations.
CAF Pesident Issa Hayatou announce the winner on Wednesday, 8 April 2015 following votes by the CAF Executive Committee. Delegations of the bidding countries presented their bids to the CAF Executive Committee.
Gabon co-hosted the 2012 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations with neighbours, Equatirial Guinea.
