The Foreign Secretary and Angelina Jolie, Special Envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, will co-chair the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict on 10-13 June 2014 at ExCel London.
It will be the largest gathering ever brought together on this subject, with a view to creating irreversible momentum against sexual violence in conflict and practical action that impacts those on the ground.
The event will include live performance from 'Muscians without Borders', and performance from the Royal Court Theatre of world premiere of award winning Liberian Girl. Gallery Exhibition, Market place, Slent Cinema (with Ethiopian film Difret being screened) plus a host of discussion and debates
There will be three days of free public events taking place at ExCel from the 10 - 12 June. You can read more about the Summit Fringe programme here.
Day 1 (10 June) will be Youth focused;
Day 2 (11 June) is aimed at Experts and Officials; and
Days 3 and 4 (12-13 June) will be Ministerial-led sessions.
The Summit will end at lunchtime on Friday 13 June. The Summit Fringe is open to the public on Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12.
