After a successful 2013 world tour, Krar Collective return in 2014 with even bigger plans to continue world domination. Starting with a US and Canada tour this January where we see them performing in four cities.
Hailing from London via Addis Ababa, Krar is the Ethiopian 5/6 stringed harp. Led by Temesegen Zeleke, a former pupil of veteran Ethiopian vibraphone player Mulatu Astatke, on Krar, with singer Genet Asefa and Grum Begashaw on drums. They are sometimes joined by other musicians, singers and dancers on many of their tours. Krar Collective is defiantly worth seeing, and I guarantee that they will have you up on your feet dancing.
