Lupita Nyong'o New Face Of Lancôme!

I think it's fair to say that 31 year old Lupita Nyong'o (Kenyan) has had an amazing year. Earlier this month Lancôme announced that Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o has been chosen as new ambassadress.

Françoise Lehmann, General Manager of Lancôme International, said the company's decision to tap Lupita was because she is "talented and committed, true to her African beauty, and showing a great curiosity and open-mindedness in her career choices."

Thus making her the first ever black ambassador for Lancôme. In a statement Lupita said: "I am truly honoured to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved. I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself."

Lupita is now the 4th Oscar-winning actresses to become and ambassador for the brand joining the likes of Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz.
