The 6Th AFRIMA Nominees List

The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) have annouced the 6th AFRIMA Nominees list comprising the 10 Regional Categories and 26 Continental Categories.

The All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, is designed to promote the distinct rich African music worldwide, engaging millions of fans by propelling African music to glorious pinnacles beyond the borders of Africa.

This year Ethiopian artist nominated include Jano Band, Yared Negu and Abraham Belanyeh.

Jano Band nominated for BEST ARTISTE/GROUP/DUO IN AFRICAN ROCK

Yared Negu and Abraham Belanyeh nominated for BEST ARTISTE/GROUP/DUO IN AFRICAN TRADITIONAL

Last year singer Betty G went on to win big at the 5th Afrima Awards, walking away with three awards including Album of the Year.

Voting for the 6th AFRIMA starts September 1, 2019, with the winners being annouced late November 2019.
