The Bag Show 2019

This weekend the third annual Bag Show kicks off on Friday 22nd February, the event supports Our Father’s Kitchen, a local charity started by Yasser Bagersh owner of Lime Tree restaurants and Cactus Communications.

“I started the charity a decade ago, having come across children with difficulties and sponsored about 10 children with little life expectancy. From them, none were expected to survive, when we came across them and provided them food and shelter. But out of the 10, only three died. It goes to show you, how much of an impact we can all make,” he said.

The event will showcase 11 local designers’ from Flaminia Paerno, Anna Getaneh, Aynalem Ayele and Meron Seid, among others.

The money raised at the event will support 300 children.
