Finally a winner has been announced for the first ever 'Africa’s Next Top Model’ . After nine weeks of tough competition between 9 countries across Africa and 12 girls the final show came down to three contestants. Aamito (Uganda), Micheala (Angolo) and Opeyemi (Nigeria) who were flown out to New York to face the final heat.
On the night there could only be one winner and that was uber confident Aamito Stacie Lagum from Uganda. She goes on to win a 1-year modeling contract with New York based modeling agency DNA, $50,000 cash prize and product endorsement deals from P&G, Snapp and Etisalat amongst others.
The show was hosted by Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Orlandi. We look forward to seeing more of Aamito in the next few months, and we can't wait for the next Africa's Next Top Model.
If your kicking yourself for missing the first show then watch back here:
Congratulation Aamito!
