Hanisha Solomon has a unique reverberating, somewhat baritone voice. Her songs are replete with profound substance reflecting social injustice.
Even though her songs are Ethiopian in character, they have transcended beyond the ears of Ethiopians reaching and appealing to thousands of non-Ethiopians in Europe, and in the United States of America.
Hanisha also collaborated with a range of stars such as with the reggae legend Dennis Bovell during the 11th London African music festival, also with Femi Kuti ,Dadier Awadi.
Hanisha has performed at venues: Kings Head Theater London, In the United States at Washington DC Warner Theater, The African Alive Festival in Frankfurt Germany, London African music festival, Botswana’s Independence Day celebration concert and Gillespie park festival in the UK
