Yegna - Taitu ft Aster Aweke

Yegna, hailed as Ethiopian's first girl band drop their second track titled Taitu ft legendary Ethiopian singer Aster Aweke. The track Taitu is inspired by Queen Taitu of Ethiopia and is an empowered song for young girls and women of today.

Yegna pronounced Yen-ya, meaning "Ours" in Amharic is the brain child of The Girl Effect charity who use the 5 member acting and singing girls to promote their messages to young girls and women in Ethiopia.
